  Not the most modern amenities, but it's a good step up from a small hotel room with a kitchenette. We were lucky enough to enjoy the Ford House in November 2011 for my birthday. We loved it so much that we came back for New Years 2012. The ability to lay in the house and watch the ocean or access the beach on a wim, is just amazing! Beach access is great but might be a bit tricky to some.

  Our friends are actually staying there, Chad & Salinda Calder!! We loved it, wished there was a current book to write our experiences in, fun to go back and read the others from 2010. Made a suggestion last year about the coffee table and the large mirror
  on the wall and the safety of them to children. So happy to see that those things were changed for our visit this year! Wish the fireplace worked better! maybe needs a cap on chimney to limit the air coming in?? Thanks again, we will be back again!

  HAVE BEEN STAYING IN THE SAME PLACE FOR MANY YEARS, STARTED COMING WITH HUSBANDS FAMILY, THEN STARTED BRINGING OUR CHILDREN AND THIS YEAR OUR GRANDCHILDREN. HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND THE VIEW IS WONDERFUL.

  The steep hill access to the beach needs a handrail. The trail is dangerous as it has loose rock which causes slipping. A handrail would be very helpful. This is not a Ford House responsibility as the area houses also use the trail.

  What an awesome view! The house itself is older and not fancy, but who cares with that view and a short hike to the beach. We would definately stay here again. Ladies in the rental office were great too.

  The location was stunning, a great deck with an amazing view. We saw several whales spouting while at the dinner table. Easy walk down to a great beach, the kids loved it. Beds are on the older side and could use an update. Bunk beds didn't offer enough headroom, so kids shared double instead. Overall, we loved it and we will come again.

  I truly love staying with bayshore Rentals!! Everytime I have stayed with them the house is clean and ready before the actual check in time. The Ford home also has easy access to the beach..I love going to Oregon knowing I have such a wonderful place to stay with a breath taking view.. The Staff are always so helpful and courteous.. It is the BEST!!!

  Few things needed fixing in the house but over all it was a lot of fun! Beds were a bit small for two people. Wish we could of at least had a queen bed even thought the rooms were small, we would of rather had the bed up against the wall with little room to walk around then a full bed that did not fit two! Also would of loved to of had the path to the beach right off the deck like the picture shows it as. The current path is too steep for little children and older folks to navigate. Beautiful view of the ocean from the house and wonderful weather! But of course you ordered that weather for us........RIGHT!!! Thanks and we will be staying there again!

  The incline (hill) from the Ford House to beach trail is dangerous. It would be nice to have a handrail from top to bottom. Several years ago someone put gravel on the trail and that was a mistake as it moves under your feet and causes people to fall down. The access is a negative, everything else is great.
