  We had a Family reunion and needed a large place for it. With kids coming from Utah , Tennesse and Oregon the Beach was the favorite choice. The Gathering place was perfect. It had a good view of the Ocean and you could hear the ocean at night. The house was well stocked and very comfortable for a large Family. We BBQ one night on the deck ,it was great. The older kids loved the Pool table . We all decided we would try to get together next year at the same place.

  We stayed at the Gathering Place with a large group, including 6 kids. Because of the rain and wind we were only able to go to the beach twice in our three day visit. The house was so well stocked and outfitted with other activities we had great time in spite of the weather.

  Every year our family rents a house at the beach to allow our grown children and grandchildren time to be together and have some fun. I have never found such a perfect place for us to gather as The Gathering Place. We usually rent in the Lincoln City area, a central meeting point for our family, but this home was worth the extra hour's drive. We will be back!

  This rental was perfect for the large gathering we had on New Years. Ample space for cooking and eating! Lots of places for sleeping arrangements in a comfortable setting. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the front deck was perfect for a cup of coffee and taking it all in. The house was surprisingly equipped.

  Eleven family members from as far as Indiana were very happy with the choice of well named, "The Gathering Place". Beginning with ample parking ; the house provided very good sleeping space and privacy; the kitchen, its equipment, and the encouraged policy of leaving usable meal preparation items behind for the next group, made for great dining; recreation equipment from tv's, ping pong table, fine billiard table, piano, and books, games and puzzles offered enjoyment to everyone; the 2 decks, one in back with a good gas grill, and the large one in front with a picnic table and deck chairs for ocean viewing - all behind see-through wind-screens were well used. I'm sure we'll be back.

  We had a wonderful weekend at the home. It was set up wonderful, and stocked with anything you could possibly want. There were even sand toys in the garage for my children to play with on the beach....the garage was full of things that I assumed were the personal belongings of the owner....when I read the manual, I discovered that they are all there for us to use! It was a wonderful home, and I would definitely stay there again. We were even able to get into the house early, because they were finished cleaning it when we checked in at the office!

  The home offers an outstanding floor plan with beautiful views of the ocean. Being a hobby chef I was very pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with most all utensils, pots, pans, and what not to cook with. We found ourselves soaking in the sun and ocean mist from the deck and in the living room. We do plan on returning to the gathering place for future family gatherings.

    Gosh, if you would have called us you could have been in a 9 am. We always allow guests to arrive early if they call ahead to check to make sure the house is clean and ready to go.

  We have rented vacation homes from Bayshore Rentals five times now. All of the houses have been great, but this house was the most comfortable for our large group. I just couldn't get over the amount of space we had! The best part about this house is the large dining area. The table fits 8-10 people comfortably, plus there is bar seating and two patio sets for additional seating. We also loved the variety of bedrooms and extra sleeping areas for all of our children. The ping pong table was also a big hit!

  Place was wonderfully equipped to keep the entire family entertained. Kitchen was well-equipped,which made meals easy & fun.   This house was perfect for us, great view, all the games we needed for the whole family. Kitchen is incredible, only real drawback is a house this large needs another bathroom but I cant really complain because it was not an issue. \
