  Our 17th stay in 5 years. Always clean and in good repair. If problems occur management is prompt and helpful. This house is not for everyone as it is away from stores and restaurants. We always cook in the well furnished kitchen and enjoy the quiet. We enjoy watching the sunset over the ocean from the living room. It is the perfect house for us.

  This property was perfect for us. We had 4 adults and a 2 year old. We had plenty of room and were quite comfortable. Never made it down to the beach but the view from the windows was breathtaking! We will be back again for sure!!!

  We had a fantastic time at Sandalwood. The home was cozy and meticulously clean with a beautiful view. The staff was fantastic - especially when I realized I left some kitchen items in the rental. They immediately tracked down my left items and mailed them to me. I had them within a week of leaving. I was truly impressed! You would not get this type of service elsewhere.

  We had a great time and the weather in November was superb in the morning hours, sunny, no wind, almost short sleeves. Psyco trail to the North was trecherous for anyone with balance problems. The other trail to the South is good for all. The house was clean, warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. Only bad thing was I packed wood for the stove and it was out of order. The house has two levels and the bottom level bedrooms(2) have to go up stairs to use the bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is not the Master, it has two twins. No problem for us, however. Also, the house is well insulated and sound doesn't travel in the house. Made it peaceful and quiet. I would come here again, no problem.

  Four of us enjoyed our stay tremendously. From the dining room and with the aid of a spotting scope we saw whales spouting almost everyday. We also enjoyed viewing many birds and especially appreciated the tide pools and all the sea life in them. The house
  is very nice and clean though the guest in the room with the queen bed woke up with a back ache every day - perhaps time for a new mattress. The neighborhood was very quiet; the paths down to the beach were fine and even fun for us but would be inappropriate
  for small children and the handicapped or elderly. This home does not use dryer sheets on the linen for which we were greatful but it would be even better if the detergent used and the dish soap and hand soaps were unscented as well. We hope to rent this home
  again next year!

  You can see the shore quite far both north and south; you can see the waves coming in while sitting in the living room, very relaxing. It was quite comfortable, though the master mattress could stand replacing.

  We've stayed at this particular home about 5 or 6 times. With Bayshore, probably about 20 times. I love this house. Maybe the only improvements would be games for rainy days and a new coffee maker. The one now takes forever to brew and is very noisy.

  I've stayed in many Oregon coast rentals, and the Sandalwood is one of the best deals out there. In addition to stunning views and easy access to a dramatic beach, the house is charming without being gaudy or kitschy. Great open room floor plan on main floor and comfortable bedrooms. The only (slight) drawbacks are no dishwasher and electric heat that can be hard to manage (it gets really hot).

  The overall stay was beautiful. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect! The weather was amazing! It was a birthday celebration, the birthday lady said, "This was her best birthday!" the house played a part in making it her best birthday! The only thing about the house I would change was to add more pictues of the ocean and beach items on the walls.

  This house meets our needs perfectly. Perch above the beach with great views and well stocked kitchen. We do all our meals here. This house isn't for everyone in that the access to the beach is difficult on foot from the house, but less than a mile away by car. Restaurants or groceries are not close at hand. These might be major to someone, but not us. Always clean. Cozy even in winter. 14th visit since 2006 coming in a few weeks.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandalwood. It was clean, well-appointed, with a wonderful view and good access to the beach. We could tell how much the owners care about it and how well Bayshore staff maintain it. We would be very tempted to stay again, but aren't too sure whether the house will still be on the cliff or partially down the hill. It's a little too precarious for us, but we really did enjoy our stay! Thank you.
