  We stayed in this house for almost a week & were very pleased. The house was larger than we anticipated & the layout was excellent for two families. Access to the bay was a big plus. The men of the family even fished off the edge of the water. We hated to leave!

  Location was great... House layout was very good. The beds were awful... very old... very hard... One patio door window panel was replaced but just on the one panel.. the other panel the seal is broken, but wasn't replaced. Very quiet and relaxing. Carpet needs cleaning in master bedroom/bathroom doorways.

  We enjoyed the bay view from Shellhaven. It was very peaceful and fun to have a fire in the firepit at night. Kitchen utensils are a minimum both worked for our short stay. I would recommend this house to anyone.

  We really liked everything except the hardness of the large master bed. Next time we'd request an air mattress for the master bed.
  Thanks for the NICE BATHROOMS & KITCHEN & the crab-cleaning table. The L/R-D/R was enjoyable;esp. the DVD player. We worked to take care of such a nice place & would like to come back. THANKS AGAIN !!

  We love staying on the bay. There is not a lot to do at Waldport but you can travel 15-50 miles either way on the coast and find many activities. Shellhaven is a nice two bedroom house but the living room furniture needs replaced as it is not comfortable.

  Okay, so I booked Amanda's cottage for 7/24-7/27. Buuuuuttttt, I arrived on the Saturday I was expecting to come in on--which was 7/23. So when I get here, after the office was closed, and couldn't find my key, I called the number on the door. A very friendly gentleman was appoligetic and rushed down. When he got there, he said they didn't have me coming in until the next day. When I checked my reservation (and a calendar to see what the date was) they were so right and I was SOOO wrong. But they found Shell Haven for me, my husband and 3 boys to stay in for the night until my house would be ready. Shell Haven was a very nice house, great set up and well stocked. Of course the boys had to look all around and check out every closet and cupboard even though we were just sleeping there for the night. Bed was good and it has a stair case to the beach. I would take either house when I come back, because we will be coming back!

  The house was very clean and we find all the dishes that we needed to make our was quiet and pleasent and walking distance to the ocean, while the bay is just outside the door.
  The screens on the doors/windows some of them need to be replaced and the appliances are very old (the dryer takes forever), there is rust in the doors.
  Overall we had a good time there.

  It is a wonderful place to clam and go crabbing. We enjoy the view of the bridge and being able to walk down onto the sand. I would like to have the sliding glass door clean without moisture trapped between layers of glass. That is really the only criticism I have.

  Shell Haven is located on Alsea Bay and has great views across the bay to the bridge. It is a short walk from the ocean-side beach. We can't think of any way in which the house could be better maintained or equipped. The furnishings are modern and very nice indeed.
  
  Overall, Shell Haven is about the best home we have ever rented and our only regret is that we only had a few days to spend. We definitely intend to come back when we have more time.

  Shell Haven is on the bay and I loved the sound of the water. And it was beautiful when the lights of the big town of Waldport came on at night. So pretty. We'll come back.

  My husband and I had a great time in Waldport. We always use Bayshore rentals and have never been disappointed. Shell Haven was a great house. It has a beautiful view of the Bay and Bridge and the water is just steps from the back door. We can't wait to return!

  A perfect winter stay...protected from the ocean side with a lovely view of the bay and bridge. Weather was unbelievably good for late January...many days in the mid 60's without rain! We would definitely ask for this house again.

  Thanks for a great place to enjoy a winter break. Great views of the bay and sea lions playing. Lots of room for a couple or two. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of linens. Loved it and plan another trip.

  Such a beautiful view of the bay and a lovely home. Well stocked kitchen cupboards, neat and tidy. Slight ceiling damage and the garage door stuck a bit but the rest of the home was fabulous. Management staff is excellent!! We will be back!!!

  The home was fine and staff was helpful - the cieling in the living room has water damage that has been in need of repair for a couple of years - i have stayed there several times and think this should be fixed, the knives are all dull and there should be a shell craker for crabs since this is the oregon coast. also you are competing with motels on the coast - they all supply plenty of toilet paper - i think 2 rolls per bathroom is expected and would appreciate if paper products and aluminum foil were included as it is inconvient to arrive and then have to go get these items
  otherwise we had a great time and will be back again

  We arrived on friday evening to the house we rented to find out later the water heater was broken. The property managers moved us to a different house which was even better than the house we originaly rented. The house was great the only problem was the back sliding door was broken so we had a very hard time going in and out to the deck to enjoy the great weather. That is my only complaint everything else was awesome!
