  This was our 5th time to rent a house in Bayshore and this was the best! We loved this house - easy access to the beach for the kids and the seniors! Fabulous views from the upstairs rooms.

  6 adults stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time! We loved being able to walk straight off of the deck and onto the beach. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We had read previous reviews and saw that some people had noticed a few kitchen items missing, so we brought them, however the management staff had already covered it! There was a griddle, good assortment of cookware, BBQ and everything we needed. It should be noted however that the BBQ is small and charcoal so you may have to buy some. Overall an amazing trip! We will definitely consider this house in the future.

  A couple of notes for future travelers: The house is very nice, with lots of room for everyone. The view is great from both floors, and beach access is right out the back door.
  
  The garage is a joke - it is roughly 18' deep and can't accomodate any full size vehicle easily or at all - we had to snug our minivan in at an angle, against the front barrier (you'll see) so the garage door could close with less then an inch of clearance - ironically, the homeowner is a builder.
  
  Also, either the house needs to get, or you need to bring a decent sized frying pan - the house can sleep ten, the biggest frying pan feeds about two. Aside from these nuisances, it's a great place to stay.

  Our family LOVED this house! It was immaculate, huge, and very comfortable! Plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed the property being right off the deck, it was perfect with little kids! The puzzles and ping pong table were fun for everyone! It would have been nice to have a gas BBQ, an electric griddle, a juice pitcher, and a TV downstairs. Otherwise, everything we needed was available. It would also be nice to have free access to the pool for the ammount the home costs per night. We truly loved our stay at this house and would love to visit again! We HIGHLY recommend this rental.

  The pictures of this home did not give it justice! We walked in to an absolutely beautiful home with the most amazing view ever. The house is built right on the sand! It was beyond our expectations. The only thing lacking was enough variety of glassware. We enjoy wine with our dinner, and on vacation mimosas with breakfast is a treat, but there were no champagne glasses, no cocktail glasses, and only 3 wine glasses. Management was accommodating, however, and gave us more glasses when we requested them. Also the house was very clean, but there was a cereal piece on the floor from the previous guest that apparently was missed in the vacuuming, but overall it was outstanding. We would definitely go back.

  I am native Oregonian who has always vacationed on the Northern Oregon Coast. I came across Bayshore renatals on a google search and found the Manatee House. The Manatee House will now become our preferred Oregon Coast destination for years to come as our kids grow up. I loved being "right on the beach", the kids loved building driftwood forts and the ping pong table. My wife loved the ocean view and the well equiped kitchen. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

  We enjoyed the house. The garage door didn't work very well, and there was a problem with the house phone. The sand was a nuisance (blew in the windows, and into the entry). Overall, it's a pretty nice place. A king sized bed would greatly improve the master suite. Also a TV downstairs would be nice.

  This was such a lovely home. It was perfect for our beach vacation. This beach house was so well thought out. Beautiful finishes throughout - it looked completedly re-modeled. But yet it was child friendly with the ping pong room, puzzles and games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back the next time we are on the OR coast.

  The pictures don't do the house justice. Beautiful house, beautiful location. Only negatives, small beds, no bar soap in the bathrooms & no plastic wrap/tin foil for use. Be prepared.
