  We originally rented a different house, but there were some problems the MGMT did not feel it appropriate for us to stay so they called and offered up this house at the same cost as the other one. Couldn’t have been more perfect for our family! The location was very nice. We had never stayed in a rental home before so we didn’t know what to expect. The experience was great all the way around. The kids loved how close the ocean was and we loved the huge back porch and bedroom with sliding glass doors! The only thing that I would mention and it is expected due to the location is the smell of mold. It effected my sinuses but that is to be expected being near the water like that. There were small (Very small) house ants in the kitchen our 2nd night, but when we brought it to the attention of the MGMT & it was quickly taken care of. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another night! Bring your own toothpicks! There were none!! Overall, this was a great place to stay and it fit the needs of my family perfectly.

  The Daley House is very comfortable. the owner's collectables are very interesting. it was okay for our family of 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 small dog. I think if they upgraded the bedding, including the blankets that would make it that much better. the sliding glass door in the master leaked on the track, so much that we sopped the water with towels. The outside deck door was laying on it's side on the deck when we arrived.

  We are returning customers and love the Daly House. The location is great, the bedrooms are nice, the kitchen is convenient, the deck has great views and beach access. However, all 6 guests had to share one shower in the master bath. And for the first\
  time I noticed a lot of spider web and previous guests' hair around the sink - usually, the houses booked through Bayshore are cleaner. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be back!

    I guess we'd better make it more clear that there is only one shower and one bath tub with no shower. Sorry about the cleaning, we will strive to do better and the cleaner has been notified!

  House was not very clean,especially the kitchen. The refridgerator does not close automatically so be careful or you will find it open.The stove is very old and it was difficult to cook with the burners not lying flat. The window screens were missing from
  a number of windows.The sliding glass door in the master bedroom was difficult to open even partially and the screen was not attached so was not able to have open for the fresh OCEAN air , the reason we like the Oregon coast in summer. We have been renting
  houses on the coast from Horizon vac rentals and now Bayshore for 20+years. We've stayed in at least 10 different homes over the years and this was the worst. The location is great.

  Very nice house. Great location. The only negative was the house could have been cleaned once again before we arrived, ie the filter in the coffee pot was still in the pot from the last guest. The kitchen counters needed to be wiped down. There is/was a small ant problem on the kitchen counters. Overall it is not bad I would not let a few ants keep me from renting this house again. The walk in shower is worth it!

  We were very disappointed when we first got there to see a sign on the bedroom fireplace that said it was out of order due to a chimney problem, as one of the reasons we booked it for second year was that fireplace. We think we should have been old of this problem prior to our arrival. Then fought the whole time we were there to keep the livingroom fireplace lit, and smoke out of the room. The property managers nicely let's grab more wood from their supply, to see if the first batch we bought from them might have been wet. That didn't help. It wouldn't keep burning, no matter what we tried, and in any wind or no-wind conditions. I would assume that that fireplace chimney was clogged, as we couldn't get any descent draft going. Other than that, the place was great. If those problems are fixed, we would be happy to come back next year.

  We were slightly disappointed because the sand dunes completely covered the view of the ocean, and we rented this property specifically because we wanted an ocean view. But it was still worth it...the home is beautiful and has many modern updates (bathrooms, furniture, TVs, etc.) that make it very comfortable and liveable. I probably would rent it again, but it would be nice to know upfront that even though it's "on" the ocean, it's really not an ocean view home.

  The property would have been perfect if it had two showers. We went with another couple so being that the only shower is in the master bed room we had to give up a bit of our privacy every time they wanted to shower.

  We have been staying at the Daly's beach front vacation home for a number of years because of the benefits it has, that many might not know about. There is a shipwreck/nautical interior design attribute. Skylights are throughout the home - kitchen, bathrooms and entry way! There are handpainted tiles in both bathrooms; an antique but workable bath tub in the second bath. The master not only has a fireplace and open sliding doors to the deck, at night you can see a realistically painted array of stars shining up on the ceiling at night. The Dalys have marble tiles throughout the home; entry way, walk-in shower for two. There is a beautifully designed fireplace placed in the middle of the open contemporary living/dining room. There are three queen beds, a huge garage with 3 bays and in the back of the home, it is only a few steps off the deck to the beach! Dalys have reroofed and repainted the interior; added new couch and loveseat; and new dishwasher, washer & dryer (washroom in walk-down basement). this year, the master bedroom fireplace needed the chimney liner fixed and the housekeeper didn't clean under the bed and shew away the spiders, but still Love their home and reserve a couple weeks every summer. You should too!

  The deck is great, especially if you have younger kids! The beach is a hop skip and a jump, but you cant really see it from the house, but you can hear it. The wind isn't too bad at the house even when the wind is crazy on the beach. The pictures dont do it justice, GREAT house! Bring your toys and have a blast!!

  Overall, this house is adequate. The second bathroom is limited by its lack of a shower. Causes whole group to have to make do with one shower, which was less that desireable. Also, the house has a bit of a musty smell in certain places. We do love working with Bayshore Rentals and often tell friends about your properties. Thank You for your services.

  Oceanfront three bedroom house with a well-furnished kitchen. Walk-in shower in M Bedroom, claw foot tub in other bath. We had a wonderful time complete with a winter storm (with lightning/thunder!).
