  This house is great for a large family group because the living room, dining room, kitchen, and deck can accommodate the whole family--but the four bedrooms allow us to retreat when we want to. The views are fabulous, and little kids and old-timers have just a short walk to the expansive beach.

  Recently stayed over New Years at Fairwinds. We have also stayed at other properties managed by Bayshore over the years. They do an excellent job. My only recommendations are wi-fi would be nice and perhaps some additional lighting on the front and side steps. We have three teenage boys and although we had no troubles, I could imagine some older or less agile folks who certainly would in the darkness. Overall, a very nice home with great views and beach access. Thank you.

  Convenient to club pool which you can use for a nominal fee. Great view. Had small children and wish beach closer so we could watch from deck.

    I don't think we have any ocean front homes where it would be wise to watch your children from a deck. Fairwinds is directly on the beach. It's always wise to be with your children on a beach.

  A little ways back from the beach but a nice house and not as much sand all over everything. Looks like a brand new microwave/oven combo. Some ants but not too bad. The beach grass is very "poky" and hangs over the path from the deck to the beach. It would be nice if it were trimmed. The property was very clean except for the vents in the house but the vents in my house aren't always clean either. Washer and dryer were nice; cute little door from upstairs bath to laundry room.

  We loved the house and had a really nice time on the coast. The only bad thing is the upstairs shower is very slippery and my wife fell and hurt her hand and a toe. So, just be careful in the shower.

  Overall this was a great house, location and experience. The kitchen could use some bigger pots and pans as we were cooking for 10. But the beach and sunsets were awesome.

  Great location. Very clean and well decorated. Plants are overgrowing the front entry walkway, the thermostat is in pieces and there are a few ants in the kitchen. This day and age, wi-fi is really a necessity.

  We spent several days here with family from Alaska and it was over all very clean & comfortable. Short walk from the back porch thru the sand dunes to the beach. The only negative was the ants & dinky little gas bbq that we had to jerry-rig the bottle
  to stay on. Maybe a little high on rates but it WAS on the beach.

  Loved our stay @ Fairwinds property... Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We have rented many properties through Bayshore RE but this is by far our favorite - can't wait to stay again. The layout of the house is perfect for a family and our dogs enjoyed it also. My only suggestion was that the availability of a bbq was listed so we planned on it and did not find one when arrived so had to buy one in Waldport. No big deal and I know I was told @ check out that we should have called the office and one would have been provided for our use but didn't know that. We got up Sunday morning, had our cup of coffee looking out the beautiful view of the ocean to see whales. Amazing. Thanks for providing a warm, comfortable, inviting atmosphere to spend with our family and friends!

  Perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 grandsons + baby. We like the oceanfront with or own beach trail. I would recommend bringing your a few of your own kitchen knives if you'll be cooking a lot. Otherwise there was plenty of dishes, silverware, etc..

  I travel to the coast several times a year with only my dog, I would like th option of renting only the upstairs, mid week at a much reduced rate.
