  Cozy house on the beach, protected from wind by big grassy sand dune. Enjoyed the pool table. House needs brightening up inside for us, since we love to read. We also need softer beds than these. The home had a small problem while we were there and your cheerful maintenance man Ben took care of it pronto! Good management company.

  This house was on the beach and centrally located for activities. You can't really see the ocean due to sand dunes, but it was nice to just walk over the rise and be there. There were lots of games and lots of cooking accessories. Only issues we had was the pool table is very wobbly and we had to ask for the wifi passcode. Otherwise, awesome.

  We decided to go to the beach last minute, and called up Bayshore and asked if they had any rentals left, and they had 2. We had a small dog so that left us with one option. We couldn't have made a better choice on our own. The house was comfortable and cozy and right on the beach.

  We had planned a 3-day beach stay to watch the stormy waters near South Beach at the beginning of the stormy season. When we arrived the house we had chosen had some electrical problems. The staff was wonderful and very gracious to us. We were upgraded and put into the lovely Nautical House instead and had such a wonderful time, we extended our stay. The access to the beach was so great, we were able to spend most of our time ON the beach! In the evenings we played pool or sat by the fire and played board games. I can't remember a more enjoyable beach trip. I must have a gazillion pictures!!

  We were totally pleased with Nautical house. Right on the ocean, with a bonus view back to the east over the bay to the bridge and Waldport Village! Downstairs with bunks and pool table worked perfect for our teenagers. Slept upstairs with windows open
  and the sound of the surf outside was wonderful. A great house!

  The charming Nautical House made for a perfect stay for three girls looking to relax on the beach. To mix things up, we suggest Saturday karaoke night in town at the Seadog Inn, where friendly locals will cheer you on while you sing your favorite tunes.
  Afterwards, a stroll on the beach, just a step off the deck, makes for a perfect nightcap! We had a great time and would love to venture back for more!

  Dunes and ocean out the back door and breathtaking view of the Alsea River Bridge from the front, so one can sit and relax and choose the view. Fun being able to step out into the sand of the beautiful dunes and a leisurely walk down to the ocean. House has lovely spaces for a variety of needs and wishes.

  loved being on the beach. the family loved the space and play area. house was solid and well taken care of. our only complaint was the queen beds were way to firm!

    Oh, sorry about the beds, they are brand new. Wish we could satsify everyone with mattresses, seems to be a very individual preferance.

  was a bit disappointed with the 'ocean view'. When we TRIED to use the fireplace, wasn't enough draft..smoky, and smelly!!

    Nautical does not have a great view because of the dune. We did say "limited view" on the web site but perhaps we should change it to "no view".

  The kitchen had some ants in it and also some in the shower. The fire place can be a bit hectic,since it opens on both ends, when the windows are opened. Other then that..this has to be one of the most coolest houses I've stayed in in awhile. I really love the antique nautical decorations and the play room was a huge hit with the young ones. We will definitely return to this house again in the near future!
