Rental Policy for Bayshore Rentals
Booking Confirmation and Rental Payment: There is a $125 initial payment due when the reservation is made. The balance is due 14 days (2 weeks) before arrival. The balance may be made by check if it is received in the office prior to the due date, otherwise the credit card on file will be charged for the balance. All rates are subject to change without notice.
Discounts and free nights: Quoted prices on our web site already include any applicable free night or seasonal discount, further discounts will not be applied. We strictly adhere to a two night minimum stay. If you book six nights the seventh night is free any season-any time.
Cancellations: Cancellations may be made up to two weeks before arrival. There will be a $25 cancellation fee charged. Cancellations must be made two weeks before arrival in order to receive a refund. There are no refunds for early departure or for weather issues.
Contact Us/Retrieving Keys: Our office address is 2214 NW Bayshore Drive, on the corner of Bayshore Drive and Highway 101 north of Waldport. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9 to 5. Summer weekend hours: Saturday 9-3 and Sunday 10-3. Winter weekend hours: Saturday 9-3 and Sunday 10-1. Phone is 541-563-3162 or 800-752-6321. Instructions on how to retrieve keys will be sent to you in your packet of information.
Occupancy and Age: All guests must be 21 years of age in order to rent. We reserve the right to check homes for maximum occupancy. We are very strict on occupancy limits, these being clearly stated for each home and violators will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. Children under 3 years of age are not counted as a guest. Large group gatherings, weddings, reunions are prohibited. These homes are single-family residences, most on septic systems and are not meant to house large groups of people. We will happily refer you to other agencies who might be able to accommodate your group. Motorhomes, campers, boats on trailers are NOT allowed in most of the homes, as they are located in highly restrictive neighborhoods. Homes generally do not have adequate off street parking.
Hot Tubs and Gas Fireplaces: We try our best to maintain hot tubs and gas log fireplaces. In some instances they may malfunction. These circumstances are beyond our control and we are unable to offer refunds should this occur.
Crab Cooking-Burning Driftwood-Beach Fires-Fireworks: Cooking crab in a home is strictly prohibited, the smell is impossible to remove. There are facilities at the Port of Alsea . Please do not burn driftwood in the fireplace, we sell firewood at our office for a nominal fee. Beach fires are permitted if they are built away from the beach grass and on the ocean sand, west of the beach grass, which is highly flammable. Fireworks are NOT permitted on Oregon State beaches.
Lost Keys – Left Items: Lost keys are subject to a $15 charge. We try our best to return items to you that are left behind, although there is a charge of postage plus $20 handling fee. We are not responsible for forgotten items.
Guests must provide personal soaps and firewood unless otherwise noted, firewood is available in our office for a nominal fee.
Guests agree to hold the agent and homeowner free and clear of responsibility for damages to self and/or property resulting in accident, injury or loss due to weather, acts of God or for any other reason.

Bayshore Rentals Pet Policy
There is a $50 dog fee per reservation
Dogs only please, no cats or any other pets
Most homes have a 2 dog limit
If a home has a stated 1 dog limit, please respect this rule
Please pick up after your dog
Please do not leave dogs unattended in the home
Dogs are never allowed on furniture or beds
If there is a flea infestation after your departure you will be charged
There is a leash law in our area and on Oregon State beaches
Many people are highly allergic to dogs and dog dander. There is a reason we do not allow dogs, even those visiting for the day in non-dog friendly homes. Please respect this rule. There will be a $250 fine if we find evidence of a dog in a non-dog friendly home
